For our first assignment in 102 we were given a Grimm fairy tale and were to analyze it. This is an illustration board that I created for my story The Three Feathers.
Starting at the top and moving clockwise, the first illistration is a picture from the original book. Next to that is a representation of the trap door that the simpleton's feather landed near. To the right from that is a picture i chose to represent the three brothers. The three pictures underneath that represent the three various things the brothers were sent to find. The ballerina in the bottom right corner is showing the simpleton's wife jumping through the ring with ease, and the final picture is a clipart of the king.
After critique I realized that this project was to be more pictures than words and was to capture the essence of the story... not every bit of the story. So, if i were to change it i would have the title piece, the brothers, a crown, and the king.
